COVID-19, and Clinic Update
Telemedicine has been very successful and I plan to continue seeing patients virtually for the time being. I will continue to reassess in-clinic versus virtual visits regularly.
I appreciate your understanding and am available to communicate with any questions you may have. As always, the best way to communicate with me is through Patient Fusion. If you are unable to access me through that method, please email me at mayastrom@kwanyineast.com.
Regarding COVID-19 prevention, please continue to practice these safe and healthy practices:
Clean your hands often.
Wash hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. Use sanitizer when washing is not accessible.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Practice social distancing (6 feet of distance between people).
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Maintain physical distance in public spaces.
Stay home if you are sick and do not return to work until at least 24 hours after you no longer have a fever without fever-reducing medications.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or in the crook of your arm; and throw away used tissue.
Use disinfectant wipes or sprays to clean frequently touched surfaces at home and work.
If you are concerned or have symptoms you would like to discuss with me, please schedule a virtual visit on schedulicity or call the clinic at 503-719-4533. I will likely be able to schedule a visit with you within 24 hrs. If you have symptoms that are urgent (difficulty breathing, fever you are unable to control with over the counter medication), please call the emergency department prior to going to inform them of your arrival. Please also continue to schedule with me for all your other healthcare needs. Please refer to the CDC website for updates regarding the COVID-19, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
